Pondless Waterfalls

All the sound and movement of a waterfall with no open water — a striking, child-safe centerpiece that disappears underground.

No two hillsides are alike

The falls are designed to the grade you already have.

A pondless waterfall is a piece of engineering disguised as a piece of nature. We read the slope you've got, find where the water wants to start, and build the drops so they sound right from where you'll be standing — not from where the plan happened to put them.

Everything recirculates from a reservoir buried under the stone, so there's no open water, nothing to fence, and nothing for a curious two-year-old to fall into. It runs when you want it and shuts off when you don't.

What moves the number

Run & drop
How long the stream runs and how far the water falls.
Boulder size
A headwall of big, hand-set stone reads very differently from small cobble.
Site access
How far the machine travels, and what it has to work around.
Finishing touches
Lighting, planting, an auto-fill, and the extras that make it yours.
In every build

Every figure includes excavation, the hidden reservoir, liner and underlayment, pump, plumbing, stone, and startup — installed and running. Design and consultation are always free.
