Privacy Policy
Effective July 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information New England Oasiscollects when you visit our website or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We’ve tried to keep it plain and honest.
1. Who we are
New England Oasis designs and builds custom ponds, pondless waterfalls, streams, and fountains across Maine · New Hampshire · Massachusetts. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to New England Oasis. We are the party responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us using the details in the Contact us section below.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our contact form or apply through our Founding Projects page, we collect the details you choose to provide, which may include:
- Your name;
- Your email address and phone number;
- Your town, city, or project location;
- The type of project you’re interested in and details about your property or site (for example, whether you own the home, site access, and whether there’s a nearby outdoor outlet or water spigot); and
- Any message, notes, or description of your vision that you include.
If you later become a customer, we may also collect information needed to schedule and complete your project and to bill for it, such as a service address and billing details.
Information collected automatically
If — and only if — you accept analytics cookies through our cookie banner, we and our analytics providers automatically collect standard technical and usage information, such as your device type, browser, approximate location (derived from your IP address), the pages you view, and how you interact with the site. If you decline, these tools are not loaded and this information is not collected. See Cookies and analytics below.
Spam protection
Our contact and application forms use Google reCAPTCHA to tell humans from automated bots. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and behavioral data and sends it to Google for analysis. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiry and provide a consultation;
- Prepare estimates, schedule work, and complete and bill for projects;
- Communicate with you about your project or application;
- Protect our forms and site against spam, fraud, and abuse;
- With your consent, understand how visitors use our site and measure the performance of our marketing; and
- Comply with our legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers that help us operate our business, and only as needed to provide their service to us. These include:
- Hosting and infrastructure (Vercel) — to serve the website;
- Database and file storage (Supabase) — to store inquiries, project records, and any photos you send;
- Email delivery (Resend) — to send us your inquiry and to email you about your project;
- Payments and invoicing (Stripe) — if you become a customer, to send and process invoices; and
- Analytics and advertising (Google, Meta) — only if you accept analytics cookies.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer. Note that the use of advertising cookies may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” under some U.S. state privacy laws; declining analytics cookies (or clicking Cookie settings) opts you out of that activity on this site.
6. Data retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to you, to provide services you request, and to keep reasonable business and financial records, after which we delete or anonymize it. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics providers’ standard retention settings.
7. Your choices and rights
You can, at any time:
- Withdraw or change your cookie consent using the Cookie settings link in our footer;
- Ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you’ve given us; and
- Opt out of marketing emails by replying or using any unsubscribe link.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws (for example, to know what we collect or to opt out of targeted advertising). To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below and we’ll respond as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's privacy
Our site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Effective” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
